The Chemistry EMSAT exam or the standardised test system in the Emirates, and it’s a set of electronic exams that are targeting the student’s performance.

The purpose of these exams is to simply measure the student’s knowledge, and evaluate their skills to see whether the student is ready to pass to the next educational stage.

The Emsat exam is evaluating the students according to not only the national standards but also international, but that’s also why most people find it a bit hard.

So, if most of the students’ results were good that means that the educational system fits them well, however, if most of the students’ results were not that good, that means that the educational system needs development and improvement.

The development plans are issued according to each of the students’ main skills, majors, weaknesses, and strengths points.

  That is the reason why the Emsat exam is not concerned with only a specific field, major, or educational stage.

The Emsat exam is concerned with almost all subjects in a wide variety of educational levels.

The Emsat exam has three stages:

1. The Baseline:

This stage is concerned with the children who are heading to grade 1, which means that it tests the children in their kindergarten stage.

The primary skills that this stage is testing are reading, writing, and calculating.

2. The Advantage:  

In this stage, the students in grades 4, 6, 8, and 10.

In this stage, the students are tested in Arabic, English, maths, and sciences.

3. The Achieve:

This stage has two parts:

1. Achieve 12:

Which is concerned with the students in grade 12.

2. Achieve:

Which is concerned more with the college applicational, and equals the admission college exams.

And in these stages, the students are tested in Arabic, English, Math, Physics, Chemistry, biology, and computer science.

So, as we can see there are some subjects that stay with the student from the beginning of their studies till the end, and some other subjects that are related to the field or major.

In this article we’re going to speak about one of the specialisation subjects, which is Chemistry, so let’s go to know about this exam.

What is the Chemistry Emsat?

The Chemistry Emsat is one of the Emsat tests that are mainly concerned with Chemistry, and as we described before, this subject is considered one of the specialisation subjects, and it’s very important to people who intend to achieve a career in anything related to Chemistry EMSAT .

How important is the Chemistry Emsat?

As we previously mentioned that this exam is related to specialisation directly, and anyone who wants to achieve a career in any scientific field like medicine, science, or even engineering, must have a high score in this subject.

This subject is only tested between the students in grade 12, which means like high school, so you need to bare in your mind the college you want to join and the score you need to achieve in this subject, to be accepted in the wanted college.

For instance, the medicine and science colleges require a score of 1100 degrees as a minimum in Chemistry EMSAT , however in the faculty of engineering, it requires a score of 900 degrees as a minimum in chemistry.

How to pass the Chemistry Emsat?   

Chemistry is known for its many varied branches, and that is why many consider it hard, however, we’re going to show the pattern of the test, and some tips to make it easy for you to prepare for the test, and to pass it.

The chemistry Emsat exam usually has specific topics to study, which are:

1. The matter and its properties have 55% to 65% of the total Chemistry EMSAT exam.
2. energy, force, and conservation have 35% to 45% of the total Chemistry EMSAT exam.

The chemistry Emsat has 40 questions, and is randomly divided into four sections; choose the correct answer, draw to fill in the blanks, complete the spaces, and match and these questions must be solved within 90 minutes maximum.

1. Understanding the basics of chemistry 

Before getting into any detailed information, you should have in mind the basics of chemistry and be well-prepared and understand it fully.

3. Practising previous exams’ models

The exams can most of the time cause stress and fear, which is not helpful at all, and the most practical way to relieve this tension even for a bit is to simply start solving previous exams, so you help yourself to get used to the exams’ tension and practise its pattern.

4. Finding a specialised trainer

Finding a specialised trainer or an institute that is fully aware of the exam and how to solve it will help you get the best results.

5. Having a specific plan

It is important to organise and manage your time to plan for your studies, and that will help you to organise your priorities.

6. Be mindful of the different branches and prepare for it

Chemistry has a wide variety of branches, be mindful of them and prepare for them, like; organic chemistry, biochemistry, physical chemistry, etc.….

How to succeed in the chemistry Emsat?

In the Chemistry EMSAT  the students are divided into 6 degrees:

1. The advanced level: from 1500 to 2000 degrees, which means that the student has mastered everything related to the subject.
2. The mastered level: from 1100 to 1475 degrees, which means that the student has all the information that qualifies them to join any college specified in chemistry.
3. The middle level: from 900 to 1075 degrees, and is considered the minimum level to be accepted in any chemistry-specified college.
4. The beginner level: from 700 to 875 degrees, which means that the student needs further qualification and support regarding some of the basics of the subject.
5. Needs enhancement level: from 500 to 675 degrees, which means that the student doesn’t get most of the basics of the subject, and needs enhancement courses.
6. The weak level: from 500 degrees to below, means that the student doesn’t have all the basics of the subject and needs heavy support classes to catch his classmates.
