About DuolWhat is the PET exam?
- The Preliminary English Test complies with level A2-B2 of the Common European Framework.
- Provided by the Cambridge Assessment of the English language.
- All four skills are assessed which are:1. Speaking.
2. Listening.
3. Reading.
4 Writing.
And each skill represents 25% of the total score available. - Paper 1:
1. Is writing and reading, it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.
2. The paper consists of three parts for writing, and five parts for reading.
3. In the reading part of the paper, you should read the texts, and answer the questions following.For this task, you can answer by choosing A , B , C , or D.
In the writing part of the paper, you should write a short message and do a short grammar exercise, then write a story or letter.
