Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities is one of Abu Dhabi’s premier state universities offering a wide range of academic programs in the humanities, social sciences, and philosophy. We are proud to promote Islamic and Arabic culture in its modernized form in alignment with our core values which constitute respect for human rights, harmony, and moderation. We offer graduate and postgraduate degrees in Islamic Studies and Arabic Language and Literature. We help our students to become globally aware, and to have a positive impact in the world. The university’s main campus is in Abu Dhabi with a campus in Ajman, MBZUH is also aiming to open new branches inside and outside the UAE.

Admission Requirements for Bachelor Degree

To be UAE citizens or children of female nationals

  • To obtain a GPA average score in High School no less than
  • 80% for General track or 75% for Advanced track or 70% for Elite track
  • To pass the personal interview that contains an oral test and a proficiency level test.

Students are conditionally accepted for the first semester until they meet these conditions:

  • To obtain an average score of no less than 2.00 
  • To obtain a score of no less than (1250) points on UAE EmSAT in Arabic and (1000) for English languages.
  • To obtain a score of no less than (700) points on UAE EmSAT in Math.
